RRT - NICU
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- CPR-AHA Certification
- NRP Certification
- RRT credential
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Certification to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Work autonomously in various clinical settings to administer respiratory care protocols.
- Provide care in the NICU, including experience in level 2 and 3 NICU and Special Care Nursery.
- Preferably assist in the delivery room as needed.
Compliance / Notes:
- Candidates must adhere to a separation period of 6 months from previous employment with the facility.
- Orientation occurs weekly.
- All requests for time off must be provided at the time of submission.
