Job description

BCOTB is looking for a Clinical Director to work in an environment supported by leadership, guided by ethical billing and clinical practices, who wants to make an impact without leading to burnout.

We love to support our team with a hands-on leadership approach from the top down. We are here for our clients, our clinicians, and to create an environment that fosters a culture of support (we won't abandon you after the day you onboard with our team).

Owned and operated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, we are proud of our operations and processes, and we don't engage with private equity firms.

Our team is looking for like-minded Analysts to join our cause!

Why Join Our Team?

  • No Medicaid (private insurance only)
  • No billable 'requirement' for base pay - only billable bonus goal
  • Minimal travel, if any
  • We are a trusted university partner with multiple in-state and out-of-state relationships, lending to teaching and growing future Analysts
  • We offer consistent and ongoing internal training for RBTs AND BCBAs
  • We offer consistent case management support and guidance (we are here for you)
  • We offer competitive BCBA compensation with performance-based incentives
  • We offer flexible scheduling options with full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Hybrid positions available
  • No weekends
  • No late evening work
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), paid PARENTAL leave (for our moms AND our dads), volunteer days out (because we like giving back to the community), and so much more
  • We offer paid continuing education and ongoing professional development opportunities (but, really, shouldn't everyone)
  • We don't just offer a supportive and collaborative environment; our team genuinely cares, because we're not reporting to a board
  • We have room to grow. If you onboard as a BCBA with our team, you can count on opportunities expanding into your area of interest(s)

Position Summary

The Clinical Director will oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs, as well as manage the direct therapy staff and supporting BCBAs. This role includes collaboration with caregivers, and ongoing analysis of client progress to ensure effective, data-driven care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to support skill generalization across settings
  • Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards, payer requirements, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical meetings, and ongoing training initiatives
  • Ensure treatment integrity, safety procedures, and quality assurance standards are upheld
  • Oversee the clinic's day-to-day staff operations
  • Conduct monthly certified meetings
  • Conduct quarterly direct therapy staff reviews
  • Conduct annual reviews
  • Deliver corrective action items, as needed
  • Report staffing needs to Human Resources
  • Attend monthly management meetings
  • Oversee discretionary budgets

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills
