Position Overview

Azure Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Winchester, Virginia. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Winchester, VA, where you will collaborate with a supportive team of healthcare professionals dedicated to promoting wellness. The facility provides access to modern equipment and a conducive therapeutic environment to enhance patient recovery. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from either 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design treatment plans for patients recovering from a variety of conditions, ensuring personalized care based on individual assessments.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques such as therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and manipulation to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Provide education to patients and their families about treatment protocols, empowering them with knowledge on how to manage their conditions effectively.
• Recommend assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities, evaluating the appropriateness of each device for individual patient needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Azure Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, all with unique needs including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role will significantly contribute to their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, fostering effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in computer-based documentation and familiar with electronic health record systems.
• A proactive and flexible attitude, adapting treatment modalities as required by patient conditions.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is valuable, we welcome new graduates enthusiastic about starting their professional journey in a supportive environment. Experience in specialty areas such as pediatric physical therapy or geriatric rehabilitation will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
