Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for automotive professionals based in the Albany, New York Metropolitan Area. In this position, team members perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, following established safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, identifying issues, recommending services, and completing work orders accurately and efficiently. Automotive professionals interact with customers to explain findings in clear, understandable terms and support service advisors with technical information. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, using appropriate tools and technology, and collaborating with colleagues to meet service goals and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform diagnostic assessments, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Familiarity with automotive tools, equipment, and service software, and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety protocols, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Relevant automotive certifications or licenses (ASE or equivalent) are preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in automotive service, repair, or maintenance is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive training program is a plus.
