AFR Auto Repair is a growing, independently owned automotive repair shop in Conyers, GA. We are looking for an experienced Automotive A Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a technician who can diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and work independently without needing constant supervision. Gasoline and diesel experience is preferred.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced A-level Automotive Technician
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Gasoline engine experience required
• Diesel experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns
• Strong knowledge of modern automotive systems
• Ability to perform repairs accurately and efficiently
• Experience with scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
• Comfortable working on both domestic and import vehicles
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team
• Must have your own professional hand tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• ASE certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical repairs
• Perform check-engine-light diagnostics and drivability diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel systems
• Properly document diagnostic findings and repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow proper safety procedures and repair standards
• Communicate effectively with the service team regarding diagnostic findings and recommended repairs
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
