Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Security System Technician and Access Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, troubleshooting and maintaining security systems, including alarm systems and camera installations and possess the technical expertise to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various security solutions including Card Access and Door Control Systems.

This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties through effective system management and customer service.

Duties

• Installation, troubleshoot and maintain security systems, intrusion detections, door locks, access control systems and other security equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of security systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide preventative maintenance for security systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and cabling for security installations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their security systems.
• Collaborate with team members to build effective security solutions tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed.

Experience

• Proven experience of 4+ years in alarm system sales or installation is preferred.
• Familiarity with card access and door control systems.
• Technical knowledge of electrical systems and cabling practices.
• Strong experience with pulling required cables and identifying cable pathways.
• Exceptional Experience as a service technician in the low voltage industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to read blueprints/layouts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00- $50 Per Hour- Based Strongly On Experience
