Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Mid-Atlantic (NC, SC, VA, WV)
Reports To: National Sales Director

Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share across the assigned territory through the effective management of distribution partners. This role focuses on developing strong distributor relationships, executing channel strategies, and increasing end-user demand to support overall sales performance within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distributor Management amp; Development
    • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key distribution partners.
    • Develop joint business plans to drive sales growth, market penetration, and profitability.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess performance and identify opportunities.
  • Sales Growth amp; Strategy Execution
    • Achieve and exceed regional sales targets through distribution channels.
    • Execute company sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned territory.
    • Identify and develop new distribution opportunities to expand market coverage.
  • End-User Engagement
    • Drive demand by supporting distributors with end-user visits, product training, and solution selling.
    • Partner with distributors to increase โ€œpull-throughโ€ sales at the end-user level.
    • Gather and communicate market intelligence, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Territory Management
    • Develop and implement a strategic territory plan aligned with company objectives.
    • Manage pricing, margins, and promotional activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
    • Support product launches, promotions, and training initiatives within the region.
  • Travel amp; Representation
    • Travel regularly within the region to support distributor and customer engagement.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on distribution channels.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing distributor networks and driving channel growth.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
