The Appliance Salesperson is an individual contributor responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing major home appliances. This role involves providing expert product demonstrations, managing sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective support and inventory oversight. Occasional local travel may be required to engage with customers or suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to understand their appliance needs and preferences
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to assist purchasing decisions
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage and monitor inventory levels and product availability
- Provide ongoing customer support and handle inquiries or issues
- Occasionally travel locally to support sales activities or customer engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in sales techniques and customer service
- Strong product knowledge of major home appliances
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
