APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer in San Francisco, USA. Lead the development of advanced AI/ML systems at APPIT Software in San Francisco, driving innovation across LLM-powered products, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable AI/ML systems that serve millions of users
• Lead research and prototyping of novel ML approaches for enterprise products
• Mentor junior ML engineers and establish best practices for the team
• Design and optimize model training pipelines for large-scale datasets
• Collaborate with product leadership to define AI strategy and roadmap
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering
• Deep expertise in PyTorch, transformer architectures, and distributed training
• Proven track record of deploying ML models at scale in production
• Experience with LLM integration, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation
• Strong system design skills for ML infrastructure and data pipelines
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, or related field
• Experience with multi-modal AI systems
• Open-source contributions to ML frameworks
