Purpose of the Position:

The Sanitation Team Member is a full-time position and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our food production facility. This includes disinfecting and sanitizing food production and processing equipment, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, cleaning breakrooms and office spaces, and reporting any issues. You may be asked to help with other packaging or processing tasks as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Perform detailed cleaning in production and warehousing areas

• Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces

• Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment

• Sweep and mop the floors

• Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow

• Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms

• Report potential issues to management

• Any other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate and read labels in English.

• Perform repetitive motions, lift, bend, push, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include up to 40 lbs.

• Follow food safety procedures such as, but not limited to, washing hands, wearing gloves, coats and hairnets.

• Great teamwork and communication skills.

• Work independently and at a fast pace.

• Regular attendance is essential for this position.
