Job description

Construction Estimator
We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team and play a key role in helping bring projects from initial opportunity to successful execution.
Responsibilities:
  • Put together project estimates, budgets, and project schedules
  • Upfront client communication on potential projects
  • Manage all aspects of putting together a SOQ for a potential project
  • Manage workload and tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Go to pre-construction meetings, take notes, and ask questions that can be used to develop proposals
  • Remain part of a project during a "hand off" period to an Operations Project Manager, once we get the work
  • Call and solicit proposals from sub-contractors
  • Help build out and streamline our sales processes
  • Research and maintain knowledge of building application methods and materials
  • Manage subcontractor selection
  • Prepare and reviews construction proposals
  • Create construction budgets and schedules
  • Assist in developing and reviewing contract documents
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Understand client needs and requirements
  • Contribute to the Request for Information (RFI) process

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience with managing construction projects from kick off through completion
  • Proficiency with applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) and other industry specific software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a team player with strong organizational skills
