American Turf Care is expanding our turf management routes. We are currently seeking two distinct individuals to join our team: experienced, licensed pros looking for a better route, and motivated field staff ready to earn a professional trade license. We are a full-service turf management company dedicated to enhancing outdoor spaces through expert lawn applications, soil testing, seed installation, and plant health treatments. We also specialize in organic and standard tick control programs, providing comprehensive solutions for healthy, vibrant landscapes.

Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and motivated Lawn Care Professionals—both Certified 3A Applicators and Paid Trainees—to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in pest control, lawn care, and landscape maintenance while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're starting your career or bringing experience, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-quality service to our clients. We have dedicated late-model spray rig, localized route density, production bonuses. Valid NYS Driver’s License, ability to lift 50 lbs, outdoor work experience. Paid travel time to work based on home address. Paid holidays, no weekends, yearly company retreat vacation for you and your family to show our apprectiaon to our employees and their familes. Work life balance focused enviroment. We pay 100% of your NYSDEC 30-hour course materials, classes, and exam fees to get you fully certified. Immediate pay bump upon passing.

Duties

• Perform pesticide applications using proper chemical handling procedures, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and ride on machinery safely during outdoor work.
• Apply integrated pest management techniques to control pests such as insects, ticks, fertilizer, weed control, and disease control on client properties.
• Follow safety protocols including appilcation safety procedures and chemical agent handling.
• Conduct site inspections to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed records of chemical use, application methods, and safety compliance.
• Interact professionally with clients to provide excellent customer service and explain treatment processes.

Experience

• Prior outdoor work experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture, landscape foreman, and crew leader is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with ride on equippment use, hand tools, power tools, and landscape machinery is advantageous.
• Knowledge of pesticide management, pest control chemical handling, entomology principles, and integrated pest management strategies is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of safety protocols related to lawn care.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to follow detailed safety procedures ensure success in this role.
