About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a respected organization in the healthcare sector to support their finance team with an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where accuracy, accountability, and professionalism are essential.

In this role, you will support day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring payments are processed efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to maintain accurate financial records.

Your Responsibilities

• Process routine payments in accordance with approved workflows and timelines.
• Review, validate, and file required documentation, including invoices and authorizations.
• Verify vendor information prior to payment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Follow up with providers to obtain missing or corrected documentation as needed.
• Maintain accurate payment logs and organized document repositories.

Skills and Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2+ years of related accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential financial information.
