SUMMARY

• We are seeking a PL/SQL Database Support Engineer to provide production support for Oracle-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise, experience troubleshooting production issues, and the ability to analyze logs, debug problems, and support mission-critical systems.
• This is an onsite role. Look for Local Candidates only.
• Contract 6 months
• Only W2 (NO C2C/H1B/ OPT)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Provide production support for Oracle database applications.
    ​​Troubleshoot application and database issues using SQL, PL/SQL, and log analysis.
  • Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Support system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
  • Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage support tickets using JIRA.
  • Participate in deployments and post-release validation.

REQUIREMENTS

• • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience supporting production environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot database and application issues.
  • Experience with log analysis and debugging.
  • Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.​

  • Experience supporting utility or energy industry applications.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, monitoring tools, or automation.
