Pay

• $20-$25/hr

Hours

• Seasonal position: April - December
• Mon - Fri 6am - 4pm, some Saturdays

Duties:

• Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning debris, blowing dust, and removing oil spots
• Fill cracks and repair minor surface damage before sealcoating
• Mix and load sealcoat materials according to manufacturer specifications
• Apply sealcoat using spray systems, squeegees, or brushes
• Ensure even, smooth coverage and proper thickness
• Block off work areas with cones and safety signs
• Maintain tools, hoses, tanks, and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required)
• Experience in asphalt, paving, or construction (preferred)
• Ability to operate sealcoating equipment and hand tools
• Knowledge of basic asphalt repair techniques
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required for some employers)
