Job Description: Sales Engineer

Classification: Exempt

Reports To: General Manager

Position Overview

The role of a Sales Representative at Alcrete is to actively engage with customers and prospective customers to develop new business opportunities within the precast concrete industry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Development of a target customer list.
• Attending industry trade meetings and events.
• Research planned public and private construction projects within target geographic market.
• Travel (within 150-mile radius of Florida City) to customer locations to promote Alcrete product.
• Travel (within 150-mile radius of Florida City) to customer project sites to monitor Alcrete field performance.
• Solicitation of new project quote opportunities.
• Coordination with Alcrete Engineering Team on the completion of project quotes.
• Follow up with customers on submitted project quotes.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Industry experience within construction and/or construction materials.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change.
• Maintain clean, honest, and healthy image with customer contacts.
• Advanced ability to communicate professionally and effectively within all levels of the organization.
