Airline Maintenance Service is seeking a talented mechanic to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of airport ground support equipment (GSE) such as baggage carts, tugs, beltloaders, pushback tractors, and more
- Conduct troubleshooting and identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of equipment
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients regarding equipment issues and repairs
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in automotive and/or industrial equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, if required
- Possession of own general mechanic tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as an airport equipment (GSE) mechanic
- Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Certification or training in automotive technology, industrial mechanics, or related fields
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software
