Conduct outreach to recruit clients for syringe access, HIV, Hep C & STI testing and overdose prevention education with the ultimate goal of improving clients’ quality of health. Primary responsibilities include:
· Responsible for conducting street-based outreach and recruiting clients
· Conduct group and individual health educational sessions in the areas of HIV, HCV, STI, and other communicable diseases
· Provide referrals in an expeditious manner to facilitate needed care and services
· Conduct follow-up with clients and facilities to ensure that appropriate services are being provided
· Document participant encounters accurately and in a timely fashion
· Product reports and statistics in an accurate and timely fashion
· Attend HIV confidentiality and other trainings as required
