About the Role:
Join ADVENTURES ONE INC as an Alternate Assisted Living Facility Manager in a rewarding live-in position! This role offers you the unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team while providing compassionate care to our residents in Capitol Heights, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies in all aspects of facility management.
- Maintain open communication with residents and their families to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.
- Coordinate activities and programs to promote residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Medication administration and supervise residents' daily living activities as needed.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and implement improvements to enhance safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in assisted living or healthcare, preferably in a live-in capacity.
- Valid and Current Medication Technician Certification.
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and families.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for providing quality care to seniors.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make critical decisions.
- Knowledge of state regulations and best practices in assisted living.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules of the facility.
