Adventist Medical Group seeks to hire an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for our Germantown, MD location who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner you will:
• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses within the ARNP scope of practice.
• Monitor course of treatment and make referrals to other health care providers as necessary.
• Coordinate care/case management as indicated, including collaboration with medical consultants and other healthcare/rehabilitation providers, attorneys, the employee' supervisor, and the employee.
• Diagnose and treatme of non-work-related injury and illness that requires limited follow up and fall under ARNP scope of practice.
• Fitness for duty evaluation and screening, including modified duty and appropriate restrictions as warranted by evaluation, unable to work and return to work protocols.
• Conditions which therapy may be initiated by the ARNP.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree, and postgraduate training in a clinical specialty are required
• 2 years' clinical experience strongly preferred
• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and state authority for advanced practice required
• Current Maryland license from the Board of Nursing
• Maintain eligibility to participate in the Medicare Program
Work Schedule:
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00AM- 5:00PM Monday through Friday
Shift Type: Day Shift
Pay Range:
$96,058.56 - $145,995.20
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
