Advanced Plastic Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering safe, patient-centered care within a fast-paced endoscopy procedural environment. Collaborating closely with gastroenterologists and medical assistants, the RN ensures seamless procedure flow while adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols. This position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage patient care independently within a collaborative nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical history and confirm consents prior to procedures
• Initiate intravenous (IV) access for patients
• Manage patient recovery phases and monitor for complications
• Provide clear discharge instructions to patients and escorts
• Maintain infection control standards throughout procedures
• Coordinate procedural workflow with multidisciplinary team members
• Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing team to optimize patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and IV therapy
