On behalf of a distinguished land developer and builder dedicated to creating communities throughout Ontario, Adams Limitless is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head of Development.<\/b> This role offers the chance to lead the development of master\-planned communities that incorporate homes for every phase of life, contributing to a company that prides itself on designing spaces for individuals to call home.
<\/p>About the Role<\/b>
<\/h3>

As the Head of Development, you will oversee all aspects of 5\-7 land and planning projects for low\-rise residential development projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will play a pivotal role in steering projects through critical milestones, collaborating with municipalities, consultants, and cross\-functional teams to bring visions to life.
<\/p>Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Lead development projects from initial sub\-division approvals to building permits and final registration.
    <\/li>\n
  • Serve as the primary liaison with municipalities, approval bodies, and consultants.
    <\/li>\n
  • Manage submissions and coordinate application processes, including Official Plan Amendments (OPA), Zoning By\-law Amendments (ZBA), Site Plan Approvals (SPA), and building permits.
    <\/li>\n
  • Conduct research to streamline project timelines and resolve challenges.
    <\/li>\n
  • Attend and coordinate community meetings, land owner groups to represent and support development initiatives.
    <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Experience:<\/b> 5+ years in residential plan of sub\-division development experience
      <\/li>\n
    • Education:<\/b> A background in urban planning or architecture is strongly preferred.
      <\/li>\n

      \n Skills:<\/b>
      \n <\/div>\n
        \n
      • Proven ability to lead and motivate consulting teams through complex, residential projects including land\-owner groups.
        <\/li>\n
      • Strong negotiation, mediation, and strategic thinking skills.
        <\/li>\n
      • Broad knowledge of the planning act, OPA, ZBA, SPA experience in carrying projects through the entitlements process.
        <\/li>\n
      • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
