About the Role
We're looking for an Accounting & Tax Counsel who can operate across corporate, business, and personal tax matters. This is a hybrid role - you'll handle the company's tax and accounting needs while also being able to advise on personal tax matters where relevant.
What You'll Do
  • Manage corporate/business tax filings, compliance, and planning
  • Advise on personal tax matters as needed
  • Work with bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accurate tax positions
  • Liaise with external accountants/auditors where applicable
  • Identify tax planning opportunities across both business and personal contexts
  • Stay current on tax law changes affecting both business and individual filers
What We're Looking For
  • Experience spanning both corporate/business tax and personal tax - not just one or the other
  • CPA, tax attorney, or equivalent credential/experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of business entity structures and their tax implications
  • Comfortable advising leadership on both company and personal tax questions
Nice to Have
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
  • Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
  • Familiarity with multi-entity corporate structures, since IcyBox operates across multiple related entities.
  • Experience advising founders or executives on personal tax matters alongside business/corporate tax.
