We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Welder to support our production of metal fabrications.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced and dependable welder to join our fabrication team. This is a hands-on role focused on MIG welding, fitting, and assembly of mild steel components used in the production of wire carriers and spools.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Fit and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools
• Perform basic grinding, drilling, and cutting as part of the assembly process
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and tape measures accurately
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metalworking
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must be able to lift and move parts up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in various positions for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience welding light to medium gauge steel
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
• Basic mechanical assembly experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule

• 2nd Shift – Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week (3:15pm – 1:45am, M-TH)
• Consistent weekday schedule
