Position Overview

Above & Beyond Therapy is seeking a dedicated and talented Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position is ideal for a compassionate professional who is enthusiastic about providing quality mental health care to patients in a hospice setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based, solution-focused therapy techniques aimed at enhancing patient empowerment and coping strategies.
• Engage in case consultations and peer review sessions that foster professional development while ensuring high-quality care practices.
• Facilitate educational workshops for patients and families covering essential mental health topics, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Actively contribute to team discussions that inform best practices in mental health care, staying current with the latest research and methodologies in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing significant medical challenges due to life-limiting illnesses. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique psychological and emotional needs faced by these individuals and their families, including anxiety, depression, and anticipatory grief. You will advocate for their mental health needs while working alongside doctors, nurses, and other specialists to provide holistic care.

Qualifications

• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in a clinical setting, preferably with hospice or similar patient populations.
• Demonstrable expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings, addressing the psychological aspects of end-of-life care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation efficiently.
• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
