About the Role:

The Home Health Aid plays a critical role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities in their own homes. The Home Health Aid collaborates closely with healthcare professionals and family members to implement care plans tailored to each client’s unique requirements. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Home Health Aid or in a related caregiving role.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Additional training in specialized care areas such as dementia or chronic disease management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain hygiene and comfort.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring, walking, and exercising as directed by healthcare providers.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any changes in health status, reporting concerns promptly to supervisors or medical personnel.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are respected.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, client progress, and any incidents to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to create a safe and clean living environment for clients.
