AZ PARTSMASTER - is searching for an experienced and talented Product Catalog Designer (print and online) to assist in the design and creation of print materials for our annual catalog, direct mail, special events and prospect marketing along with related online listings and material.

Primary Duties

  • Catalog Production:
    • Product catalog page content layout and design: Create and maintain user efficient product flow layout.
    • Update catalog Images: Photo or contact suppliers as needed to acquire suitable images for new and existing products within the PARTSMASTER catalog. Photo enhancement and create clipping paths.
    • Catalog descriptions: Research, review and update descriptions to ensure that customers are provided with the level of detail required to make informed buying decisions, insure clarity and uniformity within categories.
    • Update catalog pages as needed including: addition of new items, deletion of discontinued items, update ad pages, additions/changes to PARTSMASTER images and corporate information, compress sections as needed to maximize use of page space.
    • Catalog production: Pre-press production process and procedures of print layout and the final printing.
    • Data management: Maintenance of centralized database to distribute accurate, consistent catalog information across multiple platforms.
  • E-Commerce Product Listings Content Creation and Maintenance:
  • User experience design of company website content and layout.
  • Product additions and changes to the company websites and marketplace listings.
  • Competitive market pricing analysis and maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain marketing offers.
  • Marketing Promotions:
    • Assist in the design, development and production of print ready material for direct mail program.
    • Manage costs as required for print projects (size, paper, printing, mailing…).
    • Assist in the creation of targeted mailing lists utilizing in-house and purchased mailing lists.
    • Develop, produce and distribute information regarding response and return on promotions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with or training on Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with or training on all Microsoft Office programs with considerable strength in EXCEL. Experience with ACCESS is a major plus.
  • 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent employment history in a complimentary field preferred.
  • Must be flexible and able to seamlessly coordinate multiple projects/responsibilities.
