Job Description
Job Title: Mammography Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Mammography
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour
Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 16:00
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in mammography; experience with 3D and diagnostic mammograms required.
License: VA BOM license is required.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT registry in Mammography.
Must-Have:
VA BOM license (active/in-hand).
Experience with 3D mammography, screening and diagnostic mammograms.
Description:
The position requires a VA BOM license.
Travelers must have the license in hand or show proof of application.
Experience with 3D mammograms is required.
DEXA experience is preferred.
The scheduled work week is Monday to Friday.
This role may involve working some holidays.
Flu vaccine is required during the flu season.
Medical or religious exemptions may be requested for the flu vaccine.
COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions considered.
Travelers must submit one job ID at a time and cannot submit to multiple positions.
Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler.
RTO should be kept to a minimum, with any requests included in the initial submission.
All travelers must attend either an accelerated or a two-day EPIC class unless they have recent EPIC experience.
Proof of license is required for submission, with active licenses necessary.
P/F testing is only for the Clin Doc accelerated class.
Floating may occur in accordance with client policies.
Modules are non-billable and will be recorded by the facility training team.
