At Towing

The primary objective of a Tow Dispatcher is to ensure efficient, safe, and timely vehicle recovery and roadside service.  

Core Responsibilities:

 Call Management: Answering incoming calls from customers, law enforcement, or motor clubs (like AAA), assessing their needs, and gathering critical location and vehicle information.  

 Dispatching: Assigning the appropriate tow truck or service vehicle to the scene based on driver location, vehicle type (e.g., heavy-duty vs. light-duty), and equipment availability.  

 Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for drivers via radio, phone, or digital dispatch systems to provide updates, route guidance, and safety information.  

 Monitoring & Logistics: Tracking active jobs to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, identifying potential delays, and rerouting drivers as needed to optimize efficiency.  

 Record Keeping: Using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) or fleet management software to log job details, process payments, and maintain accurate shift reports.  

 Conflict Resolution: Remaining calm under pressure to de-escalate frustrated customers or manage urgent roadside emergencies.  

Requirements & Skills

 Experience: Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or the towing/logistics industry is highly preferred.  

 Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate GPS mapping software, dispatching platforms, and multi-line phone systems.  

 Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, clear verbal communication, and the mental stamina to handle high-stress environments.  

Requirements:
-Must meet insurance requirements (generally 25+)
-Minimum 1-2 years towing experience. (no exceptions)
-Clean driving record/Must pass background check
-Any Certification or equivalent Required/Preferred
