Disability Resource Fair

Thursday, April 2, 2026

The Arc of Adams County welcomes volunteers to support our annual Disability Resource Fair. This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with the community, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Event Location:

Adams 12 Five Star Schools: Educational Service Center

1500 E. 128th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80241

Volunteers are welcome to stay after their shift to attend the event, network, and participate in educational sessions. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Table Setup, Signage, and Organization Volunteers (2 volunteers)

Time: 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Assist with setting up tables, placing tablecloths, arranging signage, and ensuring the event space is organized and ready for vendors and attendees.

Greeters and Floaters (2 volunteers)

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Welcome guests as they arrive, provide directional assistance, and help attendees locate vendors and presentation rooms.

Audio/Visual and Microphone Support (1 volunteer)

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Assist vendors and presenters with basic audio/visual setup, including microphones and presentation equipment.

Thank You Card Writers (2 volunteers)

Date: Wednesday, April 8, 2026

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Help write thank-you cards to vendors and volunteers who supported the Disability Resource Fair.
