Senior Staff Accountant opportunity for an industry leader with a long history in Rochester. This position supports the financial reporting process as part of a cohesive team and will collaborate with other departments within accounting and finance. Hybrid schedule after some initial time onsite for training!

Responsibilities

• Support financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances.
• Support accuracy of financial reporting through validation and tie-out procedures on a quarterly and/or annual basis.
• Assist in the preparation of schedules for external auditors during annual audits.
• Serve as a backup for the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting related to cash management for the organization.
• Prepare and review key financial reports used by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-4 years of general ledger accounting experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working with large datasets.
