Position Overview

Altura Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. This position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to provide live support to the Practitioner team in identifying and de-escalating risk factors for clients, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Act as the lead in coordinating the escalation of emergency services and mandatory reporting, particularly when service users' identities are known and a reporting threshold is met.
  • Proactively inform Clinical Leads about any newly identified safeguarding risks, contributing to the risk management strategies to protect clients and enhance service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with current safeguarding policies and procedures, integrating these into daily practice while identifying and addressing implementation challenges.
  • Maintain a strong focus on outcomes-focused practice, gathering client feedback, assessing barriers to treatment, and making informed recommendations for service improvements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including children, youth, and adults facing various challenges, such as substance use or abuse issues. Your role is critical in providing compassionate care and case management services that empower clients to overcome personal barriers and promote lasting positive change.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required to ensure a strong foundation in clinical practice.
  • A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, confirming your eligibility to practice independently.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating your proficiency in case management and therapeutic interventions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in taking psychosocial histories and conducting thorough case management evaluations, utilizing advanced interview techniques and suicide risk assessments.
  • Skill in understanding forensic designations and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
