Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, excavators, and loaders.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and schedule repairs based on operational needs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy-duty equipment technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in heavy-duty mechanics is a plus.
• Proven experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
