Job description

916 FOODS, LLC, a proud franchisee of Wendy’s, is seeking experienced Restaurant General Managers to lead the daily operations of our high-volume, fast-food restaurants at various nearby locations. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of two years’ management experience in fast-food or quick casual settings and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong sense of urgency, and a dedication to guest service. This role requires leading by example and a commitment to continuous management development in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day financial controls for restaurant operations
  • Create and manage staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage
  • Interview, hire, train, and orientate team members effectively
  • Coach, counsel, and develop staff to optimize team performance
  • Ensure proper food handling and enforce equipment maintenance
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety inspections and standards
  • Manage inventory and oversee shift operations to maximize efficiency
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve operational issues

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years restaurant general manager experience, preferably in high-volume concepts
  • Flexibility to work 50 hours weekly, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
  • High school diploma or equivalent and compliance with all state and federal documentation requirements
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on customer service

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of restaurant management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proficiency in scheduling and financial management
  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
