This role requires someone with a strong technical background who is comfortable working alongside software engineering teams, interpreting product data, and managing products built on embedded platforms such as RDK.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap from concept through delivery and ongoing optimisation.
  • Gather and prioritise customer, stakeholder, and business requirements.
  • Work closely with software engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UX, Operations, and Analytics.
  • Use data and customer insights to drive product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Analyse product performance using KPIs and telemetry to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and work with Scrum teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Manage feature releases, product launches, and post-launch enhancements.
  • Balance technical constraints, customer needs, and commercial objectives when making product decisions.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience within software or connected device environments.
  • Proven experience managing software products through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with engineering teams developing embedded software or consumer technology products.
  • Hands-on experience with RDK (Reference Design Kit), including RDK-B and/or RDK-V.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience using product data, analytics, and customer insights to drive roadmap decisions.
  • Ability to write clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritisation frameworks.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams including Software Engineers, QA, Architects, and DevOps.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within broadband, telecommunications, streaming, media, or connected home technologies.
  • Understanding of DOCSIS, Wi-Fi, gateways, or set-top box platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based software platforms and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.
  • Experience working with data visualisation and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven product optimisation.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
