Company Overview

3S Americas Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of 3S Industry, stands as a worldwide frontrunner in height safety and access solutions. We engineer Safe, Simple, and Specialized systems that serve the wind power, building construction, and industrial maintenance sectors across more than 70 countries.

Across North America, we have solidified our reputation as the top provider of wind turbine lift systems, with over 30,000 Climb Auto Systems currently in operation. Our strength lies in our expansive coast-to-coast service footprint and a dedicated field team of 70+ technicians who ensure our clients receive responsive, reliable support at every stage.

We invite you to join a team of global engineering experts and contribute to advancing the future of fall protection. At 3S, safety isn't just what we sell—it's the foundation of how we work and who we are.

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee the deployment of installation and post-sales service initiatives for our fall protection product lines within the U.S. wind energy market. This role demands end-to-end project leadership—from planning and resource coordination through to on-site commissioning and final client acceptance. You will be the central point of contact, orchestrating internal crews, external contractors, and customer representatives across multiple wind farm locations to guarantee that every project is executed safely, punctually, and within financial parameters.

Core Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Project Ownership: Assume complete accountability for project lifecycles, commencing with contract signing and extending through system testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance support for equipment such as service lifts and auto-climb systems.
  • Strategic Resource Deployment: Assess and allocate workforce, tooling, equipment, and supply inventories across active sites to maintain operational continuity and maximize efficiency.
  • Timeline Governance: Establish and oversee comprehensive project timelines, continuously monitor progress against key benchmarks, anticipate potential bottlenecks, and deploy corrective measures to maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules.

Candidate Profile & Prerequisites

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely aligned discipline. PMP certification would be viewed as a valuable addition.
  • Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on project management exposure, ideally gained within the wind energy, broader renewables, or industrial safety equipment fields.
  • Local Market Familiarity: This role is based in the United States and requires candidates who are currently located in the U.S. and possess a strong working knowledge of local industry practices, safety regulations, and regional business norms.
  • Core Competencies: Proven capabilities in cross-functional leadership, clear and concise communication, and agile problem-solving. Comfort with juggling multiple concurrent projects and thriving in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • U.S. Work Authorization & Residency: This position is based in the United States and requires regular travel to domestic project sites. To ensure operational readiness and compliance with client safety protocols, candidates must be currently based in the U.S. and possess valid, unrestricted U.S. work authorization that does not require future employer sponsorship (including H-1B, OPT, CPT, or TN visas). Verification of eligibility and a valid U.S. driver’s license will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.

What You’ll Gain

  • Competitive Compensation Package: We offer a market-competitive salary, performance-based incentives, comprehensive health benefits and generous paid time off—because we believe in taking care of the people who take care of our customers.
  • Career Growth Trajectory: As we continue to expand our North American service network, high-performing project managers can expect clear pathways into senior operations leadership, regional management, or specialized technical roles.
  • Global Expertise, Local Action: Collaborate closely with our international engineering teams based in Europe and Asia, while executing hands-on projects across U.S. wind farms. You'll gain cross-cultural exposure and deep technical insights that few roles can offer.
