Work Environment

This full-time role is based onsite at our Fairplay facility, where you will collaborate with a passionate interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ abilities, challenges, and therapeutic needs focusing on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Develop customized intervention plans aimed at promoting independence, incorporating therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the use of assistive technology.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s specific needs, ensuring that they can actively participate in their rehabilitation process.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adapting intervention strategies as needed to meet evolving goals and maximizing therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with relevant policies, legal standards, and best practices to track patient progress and inform adjustments in care plans.
• Educate and support family members and school staff on strategies that enhance patient engagement and functional independence.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to create a collaborative support framework for students requiring occupational therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on senior patients from diverse backgrounds who may present with a variety of challenges related to age-related decline, chronic illnesses, or aftercare from surgeries. You will utilize specialized knowledge to ensure that each patient’s treatment plan is person-centered, addressing both physical capabilities and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Colorado.
• Preferred: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, those with backgrounds in school-based or pediatric settings will find their skills particularly relevant in our practice. Strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to collaborative practice are essential. Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment is considered an asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
