Job description

Responsible for leading business development initiatives and managing high-value client relationships to drive revenue and strategic growth. Partners with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop solutions aligned with client objectives, and ensure delivery excellence. Acts as a trusted advisor to clients and mentors junior team members to enhance relationship management capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue growth and product penetration targets.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key executives and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Analyze client needs to recommend customized products, services, or solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and underwriting, to ensure seamless service delivery for complex accounts.
  • Provide client feedback to inform product development and operational improvements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Mentor and support junior relationship managers in client engagement best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development or relationship management roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Experience negotiating complex agreements and managing key accounts.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
  • Relevant state insurance license as required by role responsibilities.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCU or ARM are preferred but not mandatory.

The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000.
