Position Summary:

Receive and store loads of dry ingredient and packaging materials. Clean and maintain dry supply warehouse and batter storage area. Be able to fill in for dry supply lead as required.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Ability to cycle count materials and ingredients when needed.

2.

  • Apply allergen or non-allergen stickers to ingredients.

3.

Assist with pulling poly samples for all labels

4.

Check loads for seal.

5.

Complete receiving inspection log in a neat and legible manner.

6.

Inspect condition of loads prior to acceptance.

7.

Load bundles of corrugated waste, keeping count and bill of lading.

8.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all ingredient and packaging ID codes.

9.

Operate forklift in accordance with company policy and unload goods.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • McCain Forklift Certification plus one year driving experience operating a forklift
  • Computer skills and knowledge of AS400.
  • Language, computer and mathematical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Physical Demand:

Constant: Stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.

Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and touch or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.

Occasionally: Sit, climb or balance; and taste or smell.
