Job Summary

A company that provides healthcare data, analytics, and consulting services, with a track record for improving business and clinical outcomes is seeking a Virtual Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing clinical expertise and judgment to effectively focus medical review on areas of potential fraud and abuse
• Interacting with Medical Directors to share information and support policy development when appropriate
• Keeping abreast of medical practice and technology changes that may result in improper billing or program abuse

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Doctor of Medicine from an accredited Medical School in the United States
• Board certified and a current license to practice medicine in the United States
• Not currently sanctioned or excluded from any program operated by Federal or State Agencies including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience practicing medicine for at least five years as a licensed and board-certified doctor of medicine
• Prior work experience in the healthcare industry
• Medical review experience and understanding as it applies to the Medicare and Medicaid program
