Our growing optical practice in Arlington, TN is seeking a knowledgeable Optometric Technician. An Optometric Technician is an assistant to an Optometrist with various tasks. Our friendly and hardworking team is searching for an Op-Tech that will help with the care and well-being of patients. If you are a friendly, detail-oriented team player that loves to help people, this is the position for you.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out diagnostic tests
- Completing necessary documentation
- Preparing patients to be seen by the Optometrist
- Helping the front office with various tasks
- Assisting the patient in making decisions about frames and lenses
- Educating the patient in contact lens care
- Providing assistance to the Optometrist as they are completing eye exams
- Other duties as required to be a successful Optometric Technician
Qualifications
- Great customer service and the ability to connect well with patients
- Works well with a team
- Willing to go above and beyond for the good of the office and patient
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Tech-savvy
- A strong work history in as an Optometric Technician
