?? Now Hiring: Educational Diagnostician | Huntsville, TX (Hybrid) 

A great opportunity is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician in Huntsville, TX seeking a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) for the 2026-2027 school year!

Position Highlights

? Location: Huntsville, TX
? Hybrid Schedule (3/2)
? Monday-Friday
? 37.5 Hours Per Week
? 40-Week Contract
? Start Date: August 31, 2026
? Competitive Pay Available for Local and Travel Candidates

Responsibilities

• Conduct educational evaluations and assessments
• Complete diagnostic testing and report writing
• Attend and participate in ARD meetings in person
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Assist in determining appropriate educational placements and services for students with learning disabilities

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree preferred
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• State-required Educational Diagnostician certification
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening, health certificate, and other state/contract requirements as applicable
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Educational Diagnostician assesses and diagnoses the learning problems of students. The Educational Diagnosticians works within the scope of a multidisciplinary team of professionals to make decisions regarding the placement and support of students with learning disabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Teaching experience preferred 
  • Certification as required by State and/or contract Regulations
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
