Position Overview
Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve functional independence through structured therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed therapy techniques and safety practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
  • Familiarity with NetHealth (Rehab Optima) documentation system preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
Schedule & Work Details
  • Shift: Day shift
  • Guaranteed Hours: 38 per week
  • Overtime: Applicable after 40 hours per week
  • On-Call: Not required
  • Holiday Requirement: Not required
