If you are someone who often looks around in dismay at how much work you have? Do you ever notice that you are working harder and harder, but there is nothing that you can do to catch up? The problem may be that you are not working in the right way!

We get told to work smarter, not harder, and sometimes, this means forming quick priorities and learning more about the work that needs to happen. For example, have you ever noticed that your brain slows down sometimes? There are things that you can do to keep your brain bright and active even when you are entering that trough right after lunch or even on the day before your weekend!

Think about how you prioritize things like your email or your scheduling. The truth of the matter is that it is too easy to let the small things pile up on you. When you focus too much on the small things, the big things will start to look overwhelming.
