ZipRecruiter Announces Support of Afterschool Alliance

Here at ZipRecruiter we know that one of the biggest challenges for working families is securing dependable and affordable afterschool care.  That’s why we’re making a donation and raising awareness for Afterschool Alliance in their mission of supporting working families. For the past sixteen years, Afterschool Alliance has worked to ensure all children have access to educational afterschool programs, helping working parents that may not have the time or financial ability to provide the same opportunity otherwise.

Afterschool Alliance is the only program in the country focused on raising awareness for, and improving upon, afterschool activities for all children. Through their work with government officials and policymakers at every level, they have gained over 25,000 afterschool program partners to help them reach their goal of supporting children of working parents.

In addition to offering programs that help keep kids safe and active while their parents are at work, Afterschool Alliance shares ZipRecruiter’s passion for encouraging an early interest in the STEM field by offering classes focusing on math, science, and tech. Giving every child the chance to receive such an in-depth education is crucial to engaging and motivating them throughout their academic and working careers.

At ZipRecruiter, our mission is to help everyone find a job, and Afterschool Alliance works to ensure parents that work are able to do so.  We’re thrilled to help them carry out their mission of supporting working parents across the nation.
