Candidate Calibration is Our Newest Feature for Employers

Introducing a new ZipRecruiter feature designed for employers: Candidate Calibration. The tool lets employers give feedback about what types of candidates they like—before candidates apply—so they get better matches for their jobs.

Here’s how it works:

When an employer posts a job, we use our AI-powered matching technology to find job seekers from our network that could be a strong match and ask the employer to rate them with a simple thumbs up or thumbs down.

Our technology leverages their feedback to learn what the employer is looking for in their next hire, before any candidates apply. We use their input to find the most qualified candidates for their job and invite them to apply and make even better Great Match recommendations, which are determined by a machine learning model using the applicant’s skills, job titles, years of experience, recency of titles, location, resume length, and application rate.

Employers can even reach out to standout candidates they discover in the Candidate Calibration feature, meaning they could connect with their next great hire minutes after posting a job. It’s just one more way ZipRecruiter is the smartest way to hire.
