YMX Logistics is hiring a Local Route Driver for our Kenosha, WI operation, ideal for drivers who want the reliability of local work without sacrificing pay, benefits, or worklife balance. Route and Equipment Transparency: What You’ll Actually Be Driving

  • Local routes within approximately a 150mile radius of our Kenosha, WI terminal
  • Routes vary by assignment but are primarily within Wisconsin, with limited nearby regional coverage
  • Start and end your shift at the same Kenosha location every day

  • Dispatch is available throughout your shift for routing questions, schedule adjustments, breakdowns, or operational concerns

  • Mechanical issues are supported 24/7, with coordination between dispatch and maintenance to minimize downtime

  • Report traffic incidents, accidents, vehicle damage, or violations promptly

  • At least 1 year of experience coordinating logistics activities and managing documentation
  • Valid Class A CDL with a current medical card

  • No major violations within the past 5 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents and 2 moving violations in the past 5 years
  • No speeding violations over 15 mph, reckless driving, or similar offenses in the past 5 years
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years



Physical Requirements

  • Periodic sitting while operating a vehicle for extended periods
  • Occasional walking to inspect equipment or locate trailers
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching when connecting trailers or inspecting equipment
  • Regular climbing in and out of truck cabs
  • Frequent verbal communication (in person, phone, or radio)
  • Ability to visually observe details including depth perception and color distinction
  • Occasional lifting of 5–20 pounds
  • Occasional schedule flexibility to support operational needs



Environmental & Working Conditions

  • Primarily outdoor work, impacted by seasonal weather
  • Exposure to heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice during yard work and inspections
  • Work near diesel engines during fueling of ICE equipment
  • For electric vehicles, responsibility for proper charging connection
