Location Omaha, NE Requisition Number: Staff_14395 Department Research Information Technology Ofc 50001213 Business Unit Vice Chancellor for Research Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM; some evenings & weekends may be required Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer servers and their installed application software. Ensures that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of those computers meets the needs of the users, while complying with applicable policies. Expected to perform some essential IT duties outside regular office hours if needed.

- Able to perform some job functions in situations where Internet connectivity is not available;Able to work independently;

- Revision control workflows (git, subversion, etc.);
- Bourne shell (sh, bash, zsh) scripting and using standard UNIX utilities to build pipelines for ad-hoc tasks.
