Job description

Join our team as an Industrial Division Foreman, where you will lead a skilled group of technicians in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of facilities such as Bosch, DuPont, Showa Denko, Mercedes, Volvo Cars, BP, JW Aluminum, Chevron, Kinder Morgan, and more. You will oversee construction operations and ensure compliance with safety standards to keep operations running smoothly. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our high operational standards and fostering a productive work environment.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of an Industrial crew engaged in installation and repair of industrial equipment and facilities
  • Train and mentor crew members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
  • Schedule project work with Superintendent or Project Manager
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Projects ranging from interior upfit and finishes to concrete and structural steel demo/installation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment installation and repair
  • Manage quality of work on project
  • Resolve any personnel issues amongst crewmembers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Share with crew overall project plan as well as short-term goals
  • Maintain and submit Employee Time Sheets
Minimum Training and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience or combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Weekend and shutdown work occasionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment installation and repair
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be physically able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; adding and subtracting totals; multiplying and dividing
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, safety glasses, hard hat with chin strap, reflective safety vest, gloves, ear protection, face shield, safety toe boots
