The primary responsibility of the Officer – Emergency Response Team is to provide high-visibility uniformed presence in and around the property. The Officer – Emergency Response Team will attend briefings, use data-driven information to reduce incidents, share incident information with Officers and Management to reduce/prevent disruption, injuries, and prohibited conduct on company premises.
The Officer – Emergency Response Team will respond to emergency situations as needed and take appropriate steps to prevent/solve problems and prevent/minimize company liability and perform some of the same duties as Security Officers but will receive enhanced training in tactical-response protocols and firearms. This position must demonstrate high visibility/presence, focus on reducing incidents, disruptions, and threats to the Guests, Team Members, and property.
This position will work in collaboration with Security Officers already assigned to various duties and posts. While working in uniform, the Emergency Response Team will be required to wear all equipment assigned to uniformed Officers and carry the department-issued firearm, wear the company authorized/provided ballistic vest, and wear a Body-Worn Camera (BWC). This is a safety-related position.
